About Hub 51

Located in the heart of Terminal 5 at Chicago O’Hare, this spot offers a welcome break from typical airport dining with a menu that leans into American comfort food while mixing in some global touches. Think solid, satisfying burgers alongside fresh, thoughtfully prepared sushi rolls and tacos that range from grilled skirt steak to seasonal fish. It’s a place where you’ll find yourself reaching for a well-crafted cocktail or a beer from a carefully curated selection, whether you’re unwinding before a flight or grabbing a bite between connections.

The atmosphere feels casual but attentive, striking a balance between a neighborhood bar vibe and a practical airport stop. Service tends to be prompt and friendly, suited to solo travelers, families, and groups navigating the busy terminal. While prices lean towards the higher side, especially for drinks, many appreciate the consistency and quality that go beyond your average terminal fare. The space’s accessibility features and family-friendly approach mean it resonates with a wide range of visitors looking for reliable food and drink options without fuss.

Visitors often find themselves drawn here for the convenience paired with dishes that feel more like city eating than airport snacking. Whether it’s a leisurely brunch, a quick lunch, or a late-night snack, the environment supports both quiet solo moments or casual group gatherings. What Locals Say

Michael Fletcher From Google 4

Friendly place. The bartenders were pretty attentive for an airport bar. The prices aren't friendly though. $45 for two beers and a burger. The burger was really good. The brownie with ice cream wasn't worth the $10 price. Overall it was a decent place to eat and wait for my flight

Joe Tretter From Google 5

It was with no big expectations that I entered this fine establishment. To my great surprise the burger was magnificent, the service was prompt and the pour was "appropriate". This is a place, so do i believe, you don't want to miss out when on a flight from Chicago O'Hare!

This was our second time stopping in here while waiting for our flight. This time we only got drinks, but we ate there the first time. I recall our meal was good, but spendy. I can say the same This time about the drinks. They were good and made as expected. However the price is definitely outrageous! Our bartender was very nice and friendly! She even offered to fill up my water bottle for me! I appreciated that a lot! The fun feature they offer is drinks to go as well! We had one drink while sitting there and took a second to have on the plane! A fun option to have! The only dinged here are the prices. Otherwise it's a great spot to grab a drink and bite to eat while waiting for or getting off a flight!

“Great spot in Terminal 5 — good drinks, lively vibe, and food that’s better than typical airport fare. A bit pricey, but perfect for a meal or drink before a flight!”

food is actually not bad, it comes in really good portions, i had the nachos, and i could not finish them way too much food, the service was amazing, very friendly staff always checking on you making sure everything is okay.

Rishi Patel From Google 4

Good array of menu items, pricing is what'd you expect at an airport. The fries were well seasoned and chicken sandwich was ok.

alex alwine From Google 4

Very friendly service and very accessible right past security. Putting pricing on your food but not your drink menu is tacky. $24 for a Bloody Mary is a 50% up charge from downtown prices.
